The older lady in black wears a black satin gown trimmed with lace and braid. It has a high neck, and she has a golden brooch with a green stone, and gold beaded earrings. Her hat has a wide brim, black on the outside, white beneath, and trimmed with lace, feathers and ribbon. She can be lightly posed, and it would be possible to make her sit. The younger lady has a cream silk gown trimmed in antique lace which has a longer pleated skirt and bustle at the back. She has a brooch and ring, and her hat is trimmed with lace, ribbon, feathers and fabric flowers . The lady inset has a light blue satin gown trimmed with lace and braid, brooch, and has a smaller head-dress of lace and blue satin.
