“...♫♫... It was twenty years
ago today…♫♫….” ...well it’s actually a bit longer ago
than that when I bought this album myself, and now in 2007 it’s 40 years since it was first released too.
I made this group of figures in celebration, as I’ve always liked the Peter Blake artwork and the costumes the group are wearing. The box is
12” square, based on the album cover and decorated with pictures from the
“cut-out” sheet in the sleeve. The figures are all one-of-a-kind twelfth
scale so about 6” tall and wearing costumes based on those on the cover. I’ve
tried to get details of trim, cuffs, medals, hats, instruments etc all correct, and I’ve made everything myself except the brass horn and trumpet. |
